1. Select & specify the employees required information at Basic Data, Assignment Data & Finance & Insurance Data sections. Note that, basic entries should be specified at the mandatory fields, in order to save the employee profile record.
Tips
§ Profile mandatory fields are; ‘Employee ID*’, ‘Name*’, ‘Hire Date*’,
‘Status*’Currency, ‘Job*’,
‘Organization*’ & ‘Payroll Group*’. Note that, the ‘Payroll Group’ field will
only be displayed before saving the employee record for the first time, yet
afterwards it can be editable only via “Payroll” module tab.
§ In case this employee was hired via ‘Hire Now’ link at the
“Recruitment” module, then the system will retrieve all common data, which was
entered at a prior instance at the recruitment interface before hiring, to
minimize data entry.
§ In case a position was selected, both Organization, Job & report to fields will be retrieved, as per setup, so they will not be editable. Hence, the position is a combination between organization & job.
